Bluelock Recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service for Third Consecutive Year

Company positioned among ten total in the report

Indianapolis, Ind. — July 17, 2018 — Bluelock, a provider of Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) recently acquired by InterVision, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner Inc. in the Niche Players quadrant of the 2018 “Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service.” Ten total providers were named to the report. We feel this recognition validates Bluelock as a top provider in the DRaaS space.

The 2018 report has new inclusion and exclusion criteria compared to the previous year. According to Gartner, “The biggest changes for 2018 materialized in the form of evolved inclusion and exclusion criteria, and even greater emphasis on the ‘value for money’ when it comes to support for heterogeneous platforms.” The report is designed to answer the question, “If I want DRaaS and only DRaaS, which providers are the most relevant?”

Bluelock has uniquely positioned itself within the market to deliver unmatched confidence through its Recovery Assurance methodology and proof of capability with its client portal, Bluelock Portfolio. Client confidence and satisfaction is especially evident in its industry-leading Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 92 for Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS).

“We work to meet our clients where they are in the process of integrating IT-DR practices into their company, whether that be by supporting hybrid environments with unique configurations or complex testing scenarios,” said Jeff Ton, Bluelock EVP of Product & Service Development. “We believe our position in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service substantiates our dedication to eliminating IT risk in a more strategic and integrated way than ever before.”

An InterVision solution, Bluelock Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service enables IT leaders to manage the complexities of IT systems availability with confidence through offerings that replicate virtual or physical environments to highly available cloud infrastructure. Bluelock provides a service-oriented approach called Recovery Assurance™ in which its experts co-manage clients’ recovery processes, objectives, testing and documentation.

“Adding Bluelock to our product portfolio has allowed us to deliver industry-leading DRaaS solutions that differentiate us against competitors,” said Aaron Stone, InterVision President and CEO. “As more industries recognize a growing need for IT resiliency to support their digital initiatives, a comprehensive DRaaS offering will be invaluable. InterVision is well-positioned to solve for IT resiliency in a powerful way with its Bluelock solutions.”
