As Jeff Ton points out in the intro, you typically don’t equate parking with technology.  However our guest today — Denison Parking’s first CIO — Matt Belanger, tells us not only why you should marry technology and parking, but how he upleveled the Denison Parking customer experience with a total technology overhaul.  Jeff and Matt discuss the entire process from inception to current status.   The vision, theory vs. reality, design thinking, and the various customer groups Denison needed to focus on are just a few of the themes in this conversation.

Matt serves as the Senior Vice President of Service Delivery for Denison Parking. Matt focuses on driving excellence throughout the breadth of Denison’s Service lines. He is responsible for the seamless execution of Denison’s field operations, accounting, audit, and reporting functions as well as retaining the oversight for Denison’s IT Infrastructure as CIO.

Matt is passionate about deeply understanding the business and adept at communicating complex topics to diverse audiences.  He enjoys partnering across the enterprise for shared success, leading strategy and innovation activities and organizations, as well as “digging in” to drive operational excellence.
