Ben Martin, InterVision’s VP of Managed Services, gives us a behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of an ops center manager.

Have you ever wondered what it is like to run an industry leading network and security operations center? As InterVision’s very own Vice President of Managed Services, Ben Martin knows what it is like. His job, and the job of his team, is to manage the networks, systems, and security of our clients. Ben gives us a behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of an ops center manager. He also explains his “why” – why does he do what he does.

Ben has worked for InterVision for six years having responsibility for the Operations Center Support Team, Infrastructure Engineering and the Compliance and Change Management Teams. Ben has over 21 years leading Managed Services organizations with a BA in Computer Management Information Systems and an MBA from Washington University.

Ben is a passionate leader who works to empower his team members, help solve complex customer challenges and enable the business for success by continuously analyzing operational effectiveness within the team.  When not working, he enjoys camping and flyfishing with his wife Brookelynn and their four children.
