Status Go: Ep. 157 – Beyond the First 30 Days | Jamie Lee

We last visited with Jamie Lee on Status Go in Episode 15. At that time, Jamie was the CIO for Wabash National, a tractor-trailer manufacturer. Today, Jamie is 18 months into his role as CIO of Ecobat, a world-leading batteries recycler. We took this unique opportunity to talk with him about his transition and relocation, his views on the CIO role, and his guiding transformation at an industrial company. Jamie has been working at speed to manage the change, deal with the fallout of a cyber-attack, and do it during a global pandemic. He also leaves us with an unexpected call to action!

Jamie Lee serves as Chief Information Officer for Ecobat. Jamie is an executive with global experience, who has been accountable for teams of 100+ and budgets in excess of $50M.

Jamie has multiple areas of responsibility at Ecobat. He is leading our digital transformation, guiding strategic planning, and is playing a key role in execution and resource alignment. He is also working to develop a culture of growth leadership and inspire transformation across back-office and supply chain operations to outcome-based performance.

Before Ecobat, Jamie served as Chief Information Officer for Wabash National Corporation, Vice President of Information Technology for Stanley Black & Decker, and Directors of both Enterprise Project Management and Enterprise Applications. Jamie’s past community involvement includes appointments as Industry Advisor for Cyber Security to State of Indiana, Technology Board for the United Way, and Alumni Board for Purdue University Polytechnic. Jamie has been published in CIO Review, featured on Inside Indiana Business for IoT in Transportation, and Purdue University’s 150 Years of Giant Leaps.
