California Community College Migrates to AWS

About the Organization
The Vision and Challenge
The Outcome
With InterVision’s CMLA methodology providing the guidance, InterVision’s experts engaged with the college’s leadership and IT team to perform a deep dive into business objectives, technical requirements, and other factors, which identified that the AWS cloud was the best choice for their goals. InterVision provided a team of cloud engineers that followed the CMLA methodology to migrate their on-prem Peoplesoft ERP application to AWS, which is the primary application for their student data. In addition, they provisioned us for AWS infrastructure services, including landing zone, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and Transit Gateway.
This project was an example of CMLA is action: The client will benefit from reduced IT infrastructure cost, faster availability to student data, and greater security. InterVision’s Cloud Architects are currently strategizing with the college’s IT team about AppStream 2.0 and AWS Connect to empower their remote education needs.
